food paradise again =)
yesterdays trip down to orchard was purely for food
had long john silver for lunch
went over to takashimayas Royal Copenhagen Tea Lounge for tea!!
we had shrimp salad, mini mocca chocalate cake and earl grey tea
fantabulous!!!
next stop was takashimayas food basement
lays ordered japanese food
we..ordered some japanese thingy with red bean
and we chilled at mos burger til six plus
where we were waiting for our beloved pearly and sky to arrive
then we went straight to the cathay for ben and jerrys
we had cookie dough strawberry cheesecake dublin mudslide phish food raspberry cookies n cream
ohh...i just love ice cream
what a trip!

whee..ice cream again
went down to island creamery near coronation plaza with my beloved coussie
we ordered burnt caramel and nutella together with brownie!!
sinful but horribly yummy
the place is really cosy and cushy
and to top it off
the counter guy was really good looking
and i tink my coussie has a crush on him
muahahahaha

after 3 months of anxious waiting
i can finally meet up with my long lost bestie
and tonight is the night!!
haaa..
her life is brimming with activities
unlike my mundane lifestyle =..(
i do not want to just eat sleep shop and study
there is more to life than that
and something is holding me back

had a pro in our boat yesterday
he is darn zai!
my goodness..his wakeboarding skills are just fantastic

wakeboarding is eating into my finances

toured around plaza singapura the entire afternoon
with the company of our lovely pearly
window shopping can be really exhausting
esp. when tugging a bag filled with *gold bars*
dinner was at cafe cartel
when im penniless
my auntie moment will be summoned
that explains why we went to cafe cartel
FREE FLOW OF BREAD AND WATER
wahahahaha
xueqin pearly and i unanimously agreed that the bread was more palatable than the desserts
conclusion: cartel's drawing point is its breakfast and free flow of bread
period.

life has been too smooth sailing for me.
i do not regard this as a blessing.
it will be my pitfall when im officially out of school

im appreciative of the life i have
im thankful for my parents
they slogged really hard to give my bro and i the life
which neither of them experienced when they were our age
i am way blessed and fortunate than many peeps
every gadget,
toy,
book,
clothe,
drop of water,
ounce of food which enters my mouth,
every cent i indulge on my friends
are my parents sweat and blood.
i dint even need to lift my little finger
to get what i want.
my parents readily provided everything i needed.

a friend mentioned that i looked like ive never worked in my entire life
after much thought
i totally agree with what he said
technically i did work for a month
but i was having the time of my life!
it dint feel like work
it was a mini gathering for 4 friends
and we get paid for hanging out together!
i went to work stress-free
i dint have to bother if the $$ i earned is sufficient for my family
or adequate to foot the electrical/telephone bills
housing loans and maintainence etc...

two years down the road
a new phase of my life will begin
i have to be independent
no longer reliant on my parents
shoots..
i wonder how will i go about adjusting to adulthood

saturday breakfast was at bps cafe cartel with xq and dorries
we made the right choice.
the food was scrumptious and well worth the value
and they have free flow of bread!!
how great is that!
haaaa..
seriously peeps..
after u tried cafe cartel's breakfast
breakfast at delifrance and cb is a nono...

dorries, christine, xq and i had late lunch cum teabreak at nydc.
whoo...the menu is filled with words and our heads were spinning from reading it
i rather they put pictures of their food to entice us than using words to describe how heavenly the food is
pictures speak a thousand words
esp. when we are famished and drained from all the shopping.
we had oreo obsession, grandma goes nuts, lemon shiver, king tuts __ and mushroom and bacon baked rice.
technically, it was only christine who is having lunch.
but we were all digging into her mushroom and bacon baked rice anyway.
haaa.

had dinner cum supper with xq at westmalls pasta mania
we had a tight budget of 9 bucks courtesy of my mum.
shared a spicy chicken pasta and passionfruit italian soda
and had water at coffebean
haaa
do u peeps noe how broke we are??
freaking broke!!!
but rich in fats....

had dinner with xueqin at takashimaya's delifrance.
we ordered desserts for dinner
Soupe à L‘Oignon Gratinée : Traditional French onion soup gratinate with parmesan cheese, served with garlic bread
Fondant au Chocolat Noir : Chocolate fondant, served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
Crêpe Suzette : Hot crepe with caramelized apple wedges in an orange and butter sauce, served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.
i cant say the food is totally fabulous
but overall it is nice though
my fav was the fondant au chocolat noir
though the name sounds sophisticated
it is actually brownie with ice cream and chocolate sauce

i feel so accomplished today. never felt so efficient in my entire life.

ii) destination 2 : vivo city
iii) destination 3 : fareast
iv) destination 4 : paragon
v) destination 5 : park mall

i had statistics class from 9-12pm today.
met up with peiling and linhui at vivo city at 130pm
the place is humongous compared to the local shopping centres
vivo city was mobbed with people and
it made shopping a chore.
it was plain tedious and draggy moving from one shop to another.
well fortunately, we did not leave the place empty handed.
i cant wait to revisit vivo city again and finish my shopping!! (without the crowd)
pearly...u are booked!

next stop was fareast.
had subway for lunch cum teabreak
pearly and i got our ears pierced! woohoo!
finally...
i simply cant understand why my parents are dead against the idea of moi piercing my ears.
it is just a pair of holes.
im so proud of pearly.
she shops!
pearly bought 2 tops and a pair of heels.
the heels look great on her and her pink/white top looks hot!
linhui bought a sexy top too.
i should change my image too.
i dont want to be sporty for life.

next, we strolled down to paragon.
we bought a huge mrs field's brownie for sky's birthday
and shopped for the perfect birthday card for him.
it is superman flying!

1820 : done with sky's prezzie
we hurried down to park mall
where we settled at fish n co. to give him a surprise.
boy, was he shocked to see us.
he thought he was only having dinner with charlene.
fish n co. was superb!
but pearly and i could only gaze the rest digging into the food
we ate the rice and fries.
shucks! it was pathetic really.
but i managed to smuggle some calamari and 1 mussel into my mouth.
haa!
no seafood for 2 weeks after piercing of ears. is it an old wives' tale?
someone please enlighten me.
