a sms came in the afternoon
daddy is in the hospital

it kinda struck me that
my daddy aint superman afterall
sure
he has his occasional bout of flu or fever
but he always recovers in a jiffy
he will head down to our family doctor
get his prescriptions
have his beauty sleep
and all is well in a couple of days

i feel a lil scared
my daddy is lying on a hospital bed now
damn
i rather be the one lying there instead of my daddy
the results of his illness aint out yet
but i bet it will be good news
he is so gonna be fine
he will be home by tml
sighhhh
*cross my fingers*

i always imagine my daddy young
he never seems to grow old
well...today was a wake up call
hahahaa
my daddy cant be 30 forever
and i calculated
he is a freaking 50 year old
oh my gosh
he is half a century old!!!!
he is growing old
and i am growing old tooooooo.....
