the trip to east coast park was a blast! i actually moved my lazy butt for four hours. that is quite a feat for me since my determination level is practically a big fat zero!
linhui and i are total goons in directional skills. we took nearly an hour walking from east coast/siglap way to east coast park! to think that the map said that we were only 0.36km away from east coast park! we tried stalking some fellow singaporeans, hoping they could lead us to our destination. the only advice i can give you : dun stalk, just ask!we went roller-blading and cycling. we were total beginners to blading. we could not even blade half of east coast park and we were totally exhausted! seriously the tiny fruits in the park were bane of our existance. we spent more than half of our time trying to avoid them, thus we would not fall while blading. finally, the quintessence of all evil! having escaped the clutches of those tiny fruits, linhui fell victim to a branch! that itty-bitty branch caused her to fall! fortunately, that fall was not serious.did you know we saw a little boy, barely 5 and he was skating like a pro. so adorable..we went gaga over him. linhui dared me to say hi but i'm just to shy *blush* wahahahahacycling was next! it was way easier. it was a breeze. we were able to observe our surroundings clearer. we spotted a caucasian female toddler...she is such a doll. she was wearing pink and white and looked just like an angel. you know babies..whatever they do..they just look cute! i so wanted to carry her home...haaa i love east coast! u can just miao at anybody (esp. hunks). anybody who is dying to go east coast can invite me along too! =Pi'm beat.ciao.
